Rapid Damage Assessment Plan

The Rapid Damage Assessment Plan has been the accepted strategy for the past five years, adopted by Neighbors-Prepared / Northeast Holladay in collaboration with the Salt Lake Olympus Stake. This volunteer-based plan is designed to quickly assess damage and injuries after a disaster. Teams of volunteers evaluate homes and report findings to designated Command Centers, where information is compiled and shared with government agencies or first responders to help prioritize emergency response efforts.

Understanding this plan and how the Command Centers operate benefits the entire community. Learn how you can volunteer and take a training class to assist with post-disaster assessments. To get involved, email us for more information.
